PREGNANCY PRENATAL YOGA

We at Studio Vandaan specialize in relaxation and movement during and after pregnancy, offering you both prenatal and postnatal yoga and massages, workshops, courses and retreats, especially designed for you.


Whether it’s during or after pregnancy; you are always welcome for yoga with us as an English speaker. All our activities are guided by our team of loving and professional female teachers, who aim to give new moms and babies the best start in life. Take classes whenever it suits you and at any location, be it at home or live in our studio’s in Utrecht.

Our weekly classes are not part of a course, but you are free to follow classes where and whenever you like- through Zoom or at the location and day of your choice. You can start with prenatal/pregnancy yoga at any moment from 14 weeks of pregnancy on and with postnatal classes from 6 weeks after birth and beyond. We welcome English speakers to all our weekly classes!

Signing up for Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga
Step 1. Buy a trial class for either Prenatal yoga or Postnatal yoga for a discounted price. After your first class you can choose to buy seperate classes or a 5, 10 or 25 class card.

Step 2. By completing your payment, an account is automatically made for you in our registration system with your e-mail address and your choice of password. When you sign in, you can register a spot in one of our classes through our Yoga schedule.

Birth Preparation in English
We offer several options for English speakers to be well prepared, both mentally and physically, for the upcoming birth of your little one.
We have both group and private options:

Join us for:

  • a private birth prep course (2x2h)
  • a private birth prep crash course (3h)
  • a group or private Partner Class (2h)

1. Partner Class (in a group)
In this compact Partner Class for birth prep we prepare you for giving birth together. We discuss the process of birth and its phases, how to cope with different types of contractions, we practice breathing techniques, yoga poses and movements which support the dilation phase and practice ways in which your (birth) partner can support you best during the process of birth. 2. Private Birth Prep options at your home with your favorite teacher. More info
